Direct PhD Enrollment for AUF MA Grads at GCAS Dublin
Pursue research-driven doctorates with global flexibility
The American University of Florence (AUF) is thrilled to announce a new affiliation with The Global Center for Advanced Studies (GCAS) College Dublin, opening a direct enrollment pathway for our Master of Arts (MA) graduates into their prestigious PhD programs.
Committed to academic freedom and a collaborative, student-centered approach, GCAS College Dublin is a European-accredited college in partnership with Woolf University offering BA, MA, and PhD.
Their philosophy emphasizes critical thinking, real-world problem-solving, and a focus on nurturing bold ideas without the burden of student debt, ensuring that education remains a process of growth, honesty, and truth.
This partnership means a seamless transition for you to continue your advanced studies and research in a globally recognized institution.
Graduates will be eligible for direct enrollment into their PhD programs after completing your MA at AUF.
The PhD can be pursued entirely through research, offering the freedom to choose one’s location during the study.
For students wishing to remain in Italy, this pathway is designed with Italian student visa regulations in mind. You’ll be required to take a mandatory research methods seminar offered by AUF, which can count towards your GCAS PhD, allowing you to maintain your visa status.
This collaboration underscores AUF’s commitment to providing our students with unparalleled opportunities for academic growth and career advancement.
